Robin Webber joined University Research Computing in November 2022 as the Senior Research Computing Systems Engineer within University Research Computing. In this role, Robin leads the development and maintenance of the Academic Cluster which focuses on bringing computational resources to teaching and learning across the University. They have worked in a wide range of roles in the world of computer technology, starting as a UNIX system and network engineer, continuing in that role while also acting as a researcher for a videoconferencing company and representative in telecommunications standardization meetings, and a department manager at Tufts University. For the past 10 years, Robin has been a full-time Linux and networking engineer in the private sector. Robin holds a degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science.
