Harvard University seeks to enhance its University Research Computing & Data services by providing direct support to faculty research for (1) Research Software Engineering (RSE) and (2) Scientific Applications.  This position will lead a group of Research Facilitators who provide scientific applications support on HPC and Cloud systems in two key Univ RCD services: Regulated Data Environment (FISMA and NIST 800-171) and Central GPU cluster (i.e. support cutting-edge AI/ML workloads both on-prem and in the cloud).  In addition, this role will manage a group of RSEs that formally develop full-stack software from prototypes to full-scale data engineering pipelines.  This position is part of the management team within Univ. RCD and will report to the Sr. Director of Research Computing and Data, and will also regularly work with other groups inside of HUIT, especially in Technical Partner Services and Information Security and Data Privacy.
